In the absence of a wholesale money grab—as we saw just last week with Lil Wayne, whose Tha Carter V placed all 23 cuts among the Top 50 earners—a bunch of debuts snapped up the newly available real estate on the Song Revenue Chart.
Kodak Black, Travis Scott and Offset will need to figure out how to divvy up the biggest check—for $289k for “Zeze”—while Bad Bunny and Drake will do the math on the payout for the #3 track, “Mia.”
Quavo and Drake, whose “Flip the Switch” is #8, and Lil Baby and Gunna, whose “Close Friends” bows at #9, are the other arithmeticians on the leaderboard. The latter duo faces the additional challenge of splitting up the revenue derived from “Drip Too Hard,” last week’s chart-topper, which holds onto the #2 slot.
