iHEART, SPOTIFY JUMP ON THE PAUL EXPRESS

Sir Paul McCartney is working overtime to spread the word about his critically acclaimed new album, Egypt Station. Tonight at 7pm ET, iHeartMedia will air 90-minute radio special celebrating the release. iHeartRadio Secret Session With Paul McCartney will feature his surprise 9/7 performance at Grand Central Station, as the legend stopped a horde of commuters rushing to their trains in their tracks, so to speak.

The on-air special can be heard across 80 iHeartMedia Classic Rock and Classic Hits stations; and digitally on iHeart’s Classic Rock Channel.

Meanwhile, Spotify has just unveiled Paul McCartney & Spotify Singles: Under the Staircase, a playlist of live performances recorded this summer at Abbey Road Studio 2, where so many Beatles’ tracks were cut. The session, produced by Giles Martin, the son of Sir George Martin, features Beatles and Wings classics as well as songs from Egypt Station, 17 in all.
