U.K. MIDWEEKS: JAMES TAILORED TO #2

The 15th studio album from James and Travis Scott’s Astroworld are looking at Top 5 debuts on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart this week. Nothing, though, is threatening the holds Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and Drake have on the charts’ #1s.

At midweek, James’ Living in Extraordinary Times (BMG) is the top newcomer, landing at #2. Scott, meanwhile, is looking at his highest U.K. chart position—Astroworld (Epic), his third album, is #4. Deaf Havana’s Rituals (SO/Silva Screen) lights up at #6.

Perennial catalog chart-topper Bob Marley & The WailersLegend (Island) is up nine slots to #15 and a collection of Fairport Convention’s Bob Dylan covers, A Tree With Roots (Island), is #20.

The release of a video for Drake’s “In My Feelings” (Island) has spiked its stream counts to likely secure his hold on #1 for a fourth week. DJ Khaled f/Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper and Quavo’s “No Brainer” (We The Best/Epic) looks to rise one slot to #3.

The top newcomer comes from the DJ duo Loud Luxury. Their “Body” (Armada) has been shaking it up the last 10 weeks, finally cracking the Top 10 at the midweek stage and sitting at #7.

Scott has three songs potentially landing in the Top 25: “Stargazing” is #9, “Sicko Mode” is one slow lower and “Carousel” is spinning at #21.
