ARIANA GRANDE, SHAWN MENDES AND LOGIC WITH RYAN TEDDER SET TO PERFORM ON VMAs
MTV announced today that Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes and Logic with Ryan Tedder will be part of the live performance lineup for the 2018 Video Music Awards on 8/20.
The network revealed earlier this week that Jennifer Lopez will be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award this year, and is also set to perform at the show, for the first time since 2001.
Broadcasting live from Radio City Music Hall in NYC, MTV has also teamed up with Amazon to release a command for Alexa that will allow customers to vote for “Artist of the Year,” marking the first time that a major awards show has integrated a digital assistant for audience voting.
7/31 marked the 37th anniversary of the debut of MTV, which doesn't make us feel ancient at all.
