Capitol’s soundtrack to the Universal crowd-pleaser Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again held down the top slot at iTunes through the weekend as the musical sequel pulled in $34m at the box office. (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again was #1 globally, taking in $76.78m in 44 territories.)

Meanwhile, the soundtrack to the first film could be found at #2, and ABBA’s Gold: Greatest Hits was #5.

Streams of “Fernando” increased 134% on Sunday versus the previous Sunday. Cher and Andy Garcia’s version of the song from the soundtrack, meanwhile, spiked 458% over the weekend. As for some of the band's lesser-known tunes, the original version of “Andante, Andante” increased by 378% on Spotify over the weekend.
