The Greatest Showman soundtrack had a scene stealer in its pocket this week in the U.K. After Snow Patrol lead the entire week on the Official Album Chart, the Atlantic cast album pulled out a win to grab #1 for a 17th non-consecutive week.
Only 900 combined sales and streams separated Greatest Showman from Snow Patrol’s first studio album in seven years, Wildness (Polydor). Greatest Showman was the week’s best-selling download and most streamed album.
The self-titled third album from Island’s Shawn Mendes debuts at #3 followed by Biffy Clyro’s MTV Unplugged: Live at Roundhouse (14th Floor), the week’s best-seller on vinyl.
CHVRCHES lands their third straight Top 10 album with Love Is Dead (Virgin) at #7. A$AP Rocky’s Testing (Polo Grounds/RCA) is #11.
Calvin Harris has a new personal best as his track with Dua Lipa, “One Kiss,” (Columbia/Warner Bros.) settles in for a seventh week at #1. His “We Found Love” with Rihanna topped the chart for six weeks in 2011.
Clean Bandit slid into the Top 10 with “Solo” f/Demi Lovato (Atlantic). A$AP Rocky had the week's highest new entry with “Praise The Lord (Da Shine)” at #29.
