"Gosh, this is fun," says Sandbox chief Jason Owen during Big Machine breakout band Midland's pre-ACMs rehearsal in Vegas, "but wouldn't y'all rather be sweatin' balls in the desert rather than chillin' in a cozy air-conditioned space with easy access to all the booze in the world?" Then everyone enjoyed a hearty chortle and a cascade of tumbling coins rang out. They all thought it was a nearby slot machine, but it turned out to be one of Scott Borchetta's pockets. Seen just before placing a large bet against us are (l-r) BRND Management's Matt Graham, Owen, dick clark productions' Barry Adelman, Midland's Cameron Duddy, Sandbox's Todd Ramey, CBS's Jack Sussman, dcp's RAC Clark, Midland's Mark Wystrach, BMLG boss Borchetta, Midland's Jess Carson and ACM chief Pete Fisher.
