A "GENTLEMAN" AND A BALLER

"I promise you'll be seeing stacks in the near future," Warner Bros. SVP, Head of Urban Marketing Chris Atlas told R&B artist Gallant at last night's video viewing party for new track "Gentleman" at the N.Y. YouTube Space. Moments later, a Postmates delivery guy showed up with his order of pancakes.

The sultry, slow-burning jam serves as the man with the magic falsetto's first taste of music since 2016's Ology, which was nominated for a Best Urban Contemporary Grammy.

The first single from his forthcoming sophomore set, titled "Doesn't Matter," is expected to drop through Mind of a Genius/Warner Bros. in the next few weeks. If you're in L.A., be sure to catch his show at Hollywood Forever Cemetery's Masonic Lodge. Bring your own maple syrup though.
