MENDES, KENDRICK TAKE HOME JUNOS

The Canadian music industry politely assembled Saturday at Vancouver's Rogers Arena for the Juno Awards to witness Barenaked Ladies being inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame while Shawn Mendes, Arcade Fire and Kendrick Lamar took home trophies for being our northern neighbor’s best in the biz.

The late Gord Downie was named artist of the year and songwriter of the year; Mendes and Diana Krall also received two trophies each. After they handed out more than 40 awards, everyone went to show host Michael Buble’s house for poutine and icewine.
