PLATT STAYING PUT

Despite rumors to the contrary, Warner/Chappell boss Jon Platt has no plan to leave his post, sources say, and isn't entertaining any offers.

Platt's had a killer year, hitting #1 in publisher marketshare last fall, growing his international business substantially, taking BMI Pop and ASCAP's Country and Latin Pubco of the Year honors, getting tapped for the WMG board and becoming an Ebony Power 100 honoree. He also had the personal satisfaction of seeing his signing and longtime friend Jay-Z inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, honored at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy gala and lavished with a stack of Grammy nods.

Also, it would be best if you just let him order the sushi. You don't know what you're doing.
