A-MERACAL AT iTUNES
Independently released solo act Adam Calhoun released his debut album, AmerAcal, last night and has hit #1 at iTunes, which is quite a feat for a previously unknown artist. Which leaves us wondering how he got there.
Calhoun's "hillbilly trap" has a decent social footprint. He's got 1.6m+ fans on Facebook (his recent Facebook Live clip touting the album earned 11m views) and 233k followers on Instagram. You can visit his socials to get an earful of his political and social views.
Calhoun had previously been associated with Chris Hosier, aka rapper Hosier (not to be confused with Irish alt-rocker Hozier) but the first track of his album, "Huck Fosier," led us to believe that relationship is no longer intact.
