MCA Nashville’s Kacey Musgraves, who graces the cover of our most recent print edition, has re-emerged with the captivating new single “Space Cowboy,” reminding the world why she’s one of the most compelling artists on the country scene. Our Contents Page VIP, meanwhile, is Tower Records founder Russ Solomon, who passed away on Oscar night at age 92. Russ not only changed the face of music retail and created its most enduring brand, but also helped shape the sensibilities of countless store employees around the world, many of whom later became prominent biz professionals and artists. We’ve lost a giant.
