TAKE IT TO THE MAX

MAXCrush Music/DCD2's Top 10 pop act, is hitting the road in the U.K./Europe with Fall Out Boy come 3/27, followed up immediately by a supporting run with AJR back in North America (4/14). All this after an already successful tour in the states, and he's actually got the wherewithal to keep that party going.

Having seen MAX live while he was last in L.A. (2/2), I've got to say the stamina on this guy is incredible. To perform such a high-energy show from start to finish, explained the extensive stretching he performed before the show backstage. Which is where I also met his (extremely personable) parents, who mixed and mingled with my fellow 20-somethings in expert form.

He performed with Ryan EXOE in the role of DJ, the two have another moniker they create under called Party Pupils, which you can check out here. In between bars of pop magic, there were cartwheels and keytars, and it felt more like a dance party than a concert. There was also a special guest appearance from MAX's longtime friend and collaborator who you'll likely already know, gnash

Right now, his single, "Lights Down Low," has 300m+ combined global streams and is currently #9 at Top 40 and #14 Hot AC. Just on the heels of achieving mainstream success, he'll be releasing his next album very soon. He just performed "Lights Down Low" on Corden last night (2/6) in a rendition accompanied by a harp (!), which you can watch below. Check him out on tour if you can, with dates and details here
