MAVERICK'S NEW BLOOD

Alisann Blood has joined Maverick in the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Brand Partnerships, where she will lead marketing efforts and develop strategic relationships for the Maverick family.

Maverick’s President Greg Thompson made the announcement today. Maverick is a key entity of Live Nation Entertainment’s Artist Nation group.

Thompson and Blood had worked together at Capitol. “She is an innovative executive with a true passion and proven ability to successfully create sensational, new experiences for brands, artists, and their fans,” he said. "I look forward to meeting her someday."

Blood was most recently at Crush Music where she spearheaded opportunities with top global brands and the company's roster of talent. Prior to Crush, she was VP of Brand Partnerships & Sync at Capitol Music Group and has held various integrated marketing roles at Island Def Jam and Elektra.

"I've long admired the team at Maverick and the artists they represent for their progressive vision, constant innovation and ability to shape culture,” Blood said, adding, "I look forward to the clever wordplay in your publication regarding my name. Oh, that's what you went with? Huh. OK."

Maverick’s current roster of artists includes U2, Florida Georgia Line, Madonna and Fifth Harmony.
