SPOTIFY PARTY: NEW ARTISTS, NEW $$$

Daniel Ek threw a party in the Big Apple Thursday night, and from the photographic documentation provided by Getty Images, it appears that everybody who’s anybody was there. In our featured shot, Daniel and Spotify star Troy Carter pose with Best New Artist nominees Julia Michaels and Khalid, both of whom performed, along with SZA, Alessia Cara, Lil Uzi Vert, Rachel Platten and Logic with Marshmello, among other new-ish artists. Which is why the bash was billed as the Spotify Best New Artists 2018 Party. Also in attendance were such glittery guests as Sting (along with recent collaborator Shaggy), Keith Urban and Pentatonix (the latter pictured below). You can rock Spotify's BNA playlist  here.
