FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Eminem opens at #1 on iTunes this flipover Friday, leading an all-new Top 10. Over at Apple Music, G-Eazy is looking good.

Revival (Aftermath/Shady/Interscope), Eminem’s ninth album, tops the iTunes chart and by noon ET was #3 on Apple Music where G-Eazy’s The Beautiful & Damned (RCA) is #4. (It’s #2 at iTunes).

John Williams’ score for Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Walt Disney) forces its way to #3, one slot ahead of Asking Alexandria’s fifth album, a self-titled Sumerian release.

Linkin Park’s live album from its last tour with Chester Bennington, One More Light Live (Warner Bros.), hits #5. Occupying slots 6-10 are: Jeezy’s Pressure (YJ/Def Jam); N.E.R.D.’s No One Ever Really Dies (Columbia); Brockhampton’s Saturation III (Question Everything/Empire); Boosie Badazz’s BooPac (Trill/Atlantic); and the soundtrack to the Will Smith movie, Bright: The Album (Atlantic).

Fall Out Boy f/RM of BTS’s “Champion (Remix)” (Island) is the top debut on the songs chart, opening at #8.

Shy Glizzy has done something you don’t see too often. The rapper’s new album, Quiet Storm (Glizzy Gang), came out on Tuesday and is an impressive #5 at Apple Music. On iTunes, though, it’s #83.
