MEDIABASE CHART SHARE:
ETHOS ASCENDANT

Mediabase has released its year-end chart share standings, and EvP Gary Spangler's Team Republic—pictured here with its collective ethos proudly on display—once again rules the roost. In addition to topping the overall breakdown with 15.6%, they top the Pop (23%) and Rhythm (18.3%) derbies as well.

Seen above just before drawing straws to see who gets to watch THE FOUR are (l-r) VP Rock Drew Hauser, SVP Adult Manny Simon, SVP Rhythm Davey Dee Ingenloff, Spangler, SVP Rock Amanda Dobbins, VP Top 40 Brett Dumler, VP Field Kathy Marchetti and VP Top 40 Lucas Romero.

Lee Leipsner's Columbia (10%) and Joe Riccitelli's RCA (8.8%) both land in the Top 5 overall. The former is #1 at AC and Hot AC, while the latter runs Alternative and Triple A. Columbia is also Top 5 at Pop, as is Def Jam (hitherto piloted by Rick Sackheim), which is #6 overall.

Epic is tops at Urban (led by Benny Pough) and #2 Rhythm (with Sujit Kundu riding herd), and the Sandra Afloarei-helmed Pop crew (#8) surged late in the year to score a #1 with Camila Cabello.
