Coco, Disney and Pixar's animated family film (and the only new release to make this week's Top 10), debuts at the top of the domestic box office with just south of $50m. And if you take the Thanksgiving holiday into consideration, its five-day gross is around $70m.
Those numbers mean the film delivered the fourth largest Thanksgiving weekend openings. And according to BoxOfficeMojo that means Disney still owns nine of the ten largest three and five-day openings over the November holiday.
1. Coco (Buena Vista) $49m 3,987/$12,295 avg. (debut)
2. Justice League (Warner Bros.) $41m 4,051/$10,054 avg. (week 2)
3. Wonder (Lionsgate) $22m 3,172/$7,030 avg. (week 2)
4. Thor: Ragnarok (Buena Vista) $17m 3,281/$5,118 avg. (week 4)
5. Daddy's Home 2 (Paramount) $13m 3,518/$3,766 avg. (week 3)
