KENNY BUNDLES
UP BIGTIME

Live in No Shoes Nation (Blue Chair/Columbia Nashville), dropping  this week, is a document of Kenny Chesney’s fearsome power as a live act, rocking stadiums from Dallas to Denver, Atlanta to Asbury Park. But there was no reason to assume that this two-disc, 30-song collection, Chesney’s second live release, would be a chart-topper—until it became part of one of the biggest ticket bundles in recorded history.

Remember that part in the preceding paragraph about how Kenny rocks stadiums across the land? Well, the country superstar recently put 18 Trip Around the Sun 2018 stadium shows on sale, and with every seat (provided the buyer redeems) comes a physical copy of the album. With that many tickets in the marketplace, you’re potentially looking at what statisticians call “more records than you can shake a stick at.”

At the risk of posing the question indelicately, how big will Kenny’s bundle be? Nobody’s quite sure yet. One thing’s for sure: It’s a strong contender for #1 on the next chart.

Support acts for the tour include Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion and Brandon Lay; the trek will include stops at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA, Ford Field in Detroit, Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Soldier Field in Chicago and Busch Stadium in St. Louis, among other huge venues. Guests on Live in No Shoes Nation include Taylor Swift, Eric Church, Zac Brown Band, Old Dominion and Dave Matthews.
