With his new album imminent, Sam Smith has announced a 2018 U.K. and European arena tour where he’ll play his biggest headline shows to date. In London, he’s gone from three dates at the 5k-capacity Brixton Academy, to two dates at the 20k-capacity O2 Arena.
Smith’s second album, The Thrill Of It All (Capitol), is out on 11/3. Promoted by Live Nation, his tour of the same name starts in Sheffield on 3/20, before visiting arenas in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin, Birmingham and ending in London on 4/6 and 4/7.
In Europe, Smith plays the Globe Arena in Stockholm on 4/19, then 14 more shows across venues ranging from 13k to 23k cap. in destinations including Copenhagen, Germany, France and Spain. That leg ends on 5/18 in Lisbon.
