A MESSAGE FROM JAKE

The following is a note from RCA SVP A&R Jake Ottmann, seen in the photo with his beautiful family; Jake wanted to express his gratitude to members of the music community for their support in the wake of his wife's untimely passing. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for contributions to Brooklyn Friends School.

Thank you to my fellow A&R and publishing colleagues, friends, songwriters, producers, artists and neighbors. My kids and I are sincerely grateful for your warmth and generosity as we work through the passing of my wife, Lauryn Marie Small. This has been a challenging time, and yet through it I have witnessed such kindness from you all. Whether you donated a dollar or sent a thoughtful text or email, I have tremendous appreciation for every gesture large and small.

In these past weeks, I have truly experienced the full force of the relationships I’ve built over the last 25 years.  My family and I have been carried by this incredible community, and we are grateful to you all. To my entire music family: Thank you.
