GLASSNOTE WELCOMES SPACEBOMB

Fresh off a sprint from Zabar's to Battery Park, Daniel Glass calculates how much training it will take to get the Spacebomb team in shape for the New York Marathon. Glassnote’s Resolved Records is partnering with the Spacebomb Group to provide financial, marketing and industry expertise as they expand their recording studio, record label, publishing, production and artist management operations.

Resolved Records, which was launched in 2014 to provide support to entrepreneurs and indie labels, and the Glassnote teams of Glassnote Records, Insieme Music Publishing and Present Artist Management will be working closely with Spacebomb Group across Spacebomb Records, Spacebomb Publishing, Spacebomb Productions and Dreamboat Artist Management.

Spacebomb owners Matthew E. White and Ben Baldwin started it as a label and recording studio. Based in Richmond, Va., and Bristol, they have produced and released albums by Natalie Prass, Bedouine and White.

“Spacebomb is truly unique, with an exceptional studio and a creative house band of musicians at its heart, much like legendary record labels like Stax and Motown,” Daniel Glass, President/Founder of Glassnote Entertainment, said. “Matthew and his team have already created their own instantly recognizable sound and we’re thrilled to work with them to expand their reach and horizons, and to introduce new artists to this new fantastically creative hub.”

White collaborated with Glassnote artist Flo Morrissey on an album recorded at Spacebomb, noted Chris Scully, GM/CFO of Glassnote Entertainment Group. “We were impressed by their creative vision and by joining forces saw a huge capacity and potential for growth.”

Resolved recently acquired the Jerden Records catalog, consisting of labels including Jerden, Picadilly, First American and Great Northwest.
