Capitol Music Group honcho Steve Barnett was kind enough to lend Katy Perry his favorite pair of fluffy pink earrings for a photo celebrating the diamond certification (10m sales/streams) of three of the pop star's songs: “Roar,” “Dark Horse” and “Firework." For what it's worth, a mere 14 songs have earned diamond status to date.
Seen wondering who looks prettiest in pink are Direct Management Group's Bradford Cobb, RIAA Chairman and CEO Cary Sherman, Perry—currently out on WITNESS: The Tour—and Barnett.
During the course of Perry’s career, 22 of her songs have achieved RIAA certification, and three studio albums have also been certified platinum or multi-platinum. “Swish Swish” and “Chained To The Rhythm,” both on most recent album Witness, have already been certified gold and platinum, respectively.
