POST STREAMS AHEAD
OF TAYLOR, SAM

Post Malone's "rockstar" (Republic) is more than living up to its name, and has now passed the first-week streams of Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" (Big Machine) and become one of the Top 5 streaming debuts of the year. Based on the track's performance at the top-tier streaming services, "rockstar" is set to do some 35m streams.

Taylor's first week saw 29m streams, while Sam Smith's "Too Good at Goodbyes" (Capitol) bowed with 20m streams at the big streameries.

Once sales are factored in, however, Taylor wins the three-way contest handily; with 352k tracks sold in her first week, she earns a weighty 545k song SPS total. Post, with a projected 80k in sales, scores 305k song SPS; Sam, who sold 90k tracks, lands at 133k song SPS.

The top streaming week of the year, meanwhile, belongs to Kendrick Lamar's "Humble" (TDE/Aftermath/Interscope) with 44m.

On Spotify's U.S. and Global Top 50 charts and Apple Music, "rockstar" retains the #1 spot. Sam and Taylor are #2 and #5, respectively, on the Spotify Global Top 50, and #5 and #9 U.S. At Apple, Sam is #11 and Taylor is #21.
