NASHVILLE SALUTES THE LUMINEERS

Nashville Mayor Megan Barry declared 9/14 Lumineers Day in Music City, honoring the trio at BMI’s HQ where they picked up a collection of awards. The Lumineers received a triple platinum award for their Dualtone debut and a gold award for the follow-up, Cleopatra, plus a BMI MillionAir award for 3m radio performances. Gathering at BMI’s HQ were, from left, BMI VP of Writer Publisher Relations Jody Williams, BMI Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships & Events Mason Hunter, band members Jeremiah Fraites and Neyla Pekarek, Dualtone co-founder and CEO Scott Robinson, band member Wesley Schultz and Dualtone President Paul Roper. The band’s next stop is Saturday in New York at the Global Citizen festival.
