SPOTTED ON SPOTIFY'S NEW MUSIC FRIDAY

As was to be expected, Sam Smith's brand new single, "Too Good at Goodbyes" (Capitol), tops this week's New Music Friday Spotify playlist. That said, Smith snags the cover shot as well. But more surprisingly, in an uncommon move by the streaming service, the playlist kicks off with an up-close-and-personal video of Smith singing the song straight into a camera.

If you can still hear other sounds over your own sobbing after the first song, expect your ears to be graced with Hailee Steinfeld & Alesso f/Florida Georgia Line & watt's "Let Me Go" (Republic), ZAYN & Sia's "Dusk Till Dawn" (RCA), ILoveMakonnen f/Rae Sremmurd's "Love" (OVO Sound/Warner Bros.), Kelly Clarkson's "Love So Soft" (Atlantic), Thomas Rhett's "Leave Right Now" (Valory/BMLG), G-Eazy f/A$AP Rocky & Cardi B's "No Limit" (RCA), Tove Lo's "Disco Tits" (Island), Beck's "Up All Night" (Capitol), U2's "You're The Best Thing About Me" (Interscope), Nothing But Thieves' "Particles" (RCA), The National's "Dark Side of the Gym" (4AD), SZA's "Quicksand" (RCA), Miguel's "Shockandawe" (ByStorm/RCA), Foo Fighters' "The Line" (Roswell/RCA), Demi Lovato's "You Don't Do It For Me Anymore" (Safehouse/Island), Maty Noyes' "Say It To My Face" (Lava/Republic), Blake Shelton's "I'll Name the Dogs" (Warner Bros.), Kane Brown's "Found You" (RCA Nashville/Zone 4), Aquilo's "I Could Fight on a Wall" (Island), Loote's "Outta My Head" (Island), dvsn's "Mood" (OVO Sound/Warner Bros.), Sleeping With Sirens' "Trouble" (Warner Bros.) and Linkin Park & Steve Aoki's "Darker Than the Light That Never Bleeds (Chester Forever Steve Aoki Remix)" (Warner Bros./Ultra).
