MONEYBAGG YO:
KA-CHING

Moneybagg Yo’s Federal 3X (N-Less/Interscope) has come on strong, holding onto the #1 spot overall on Apple Music’s album chart over the weekend. It's #2 at iTunes, just behind Kesha's Rainbow.

The 15-track Federal 3X mostly features solo Yo, but does contain a collab with NBA YoungBoy.

Moneybagg Yo is managed by Yo Gotti; he teamed up with the boss for the 2016 project on N-Less, 2 Federal, which featured the tracks “Pull Up” and “Doin 2 Much." That same year, he dropped a solo effort called Heartless.

“Gotti has taught me that I should chase my dreams, not the money," Moneybagg said last year, "Sometimes an opportunity is bigger than the bag. I clenched on that.”

And that opportunity came around soon after— in the form of Joie Manda, who signed N-Less for distribution.
