BBC FILLS ITS FESTIVAL BILLS

The BBC will showcase more than 30 emerging artists via its Introducing Stage at Festival Republic’s Reading and Leeds Festivals in Blighty on 8/25-27, as well as a few surprise performances.

On the bill at Reading on 8/25 and Leeds on 8/26 are rock band Avenoir, singer Brooke Bentham who’s managed by ATC, indie band Honey Arcade, London four-piece Moses, singer/songwriter Olly Chamberlain, South African rapper Phundo Art, guitar band Plaza, Sheffield rock trio Rale, songwriter Scott Quinn, Ireland band Touts, Sire Records signees Sugarmen and indie art-rock quintet The Golden Age of TV.

On 8/26 at Reading and Leeds on 8/27, those on the bill include Dirty Hit signees—and The 1975 labelmates—Pale Waves, hot R&B London duo Ider (Glassnote), upbeat Manchester band Cassia, London band Colouring, who are signed to Interscope, solo singer/songwriter Dan Stock, Beatnik Creative-signed alt rock act Island, prog rockers KOYO, alt pop band Playing House, heavy Bristol trio Sœur, hip-hop duo Too Many Ts, funk pop five-piece Verschieden and goth rockers Will Sin For Love.

Finally, at Leeds on 8/25 and Reading on 8/27 are: Hastings band Alibi, promising vocalist/producer Anna Straker, who's managed by The Forty Four, Welsh alt rock band Chroma, rock band Deadset Dream, pop newcomers Ginger Snaps, guitar act Honey Lung, electronic foursome Low Island (Kobalt), Glassnote's Mosa Wild, alt-rock outfit Penguin, bubblegum punk band Queen Zee and The Sasstones, blues/rock band Rock Bottom Risers and Ignition-signed trio The Pale White.
