4:44 AT MIDNIGHT

Word has it that all iHeart Pop, Urban and Rhythm stations will be playing Jay-Z's 4:44 album in its entirety on its drop date of Friday (6/30) at midnight and again at various points throughout the weekend. Due to the secrecy of the project, PDs are saying that they haven't heard the record and won't hear it until it airs, much to the chagrin of local programmers.

Jay's new album will be available exclusively via Tidal (with a big Sprint push) for its first week, and then is slated to go wide to all DSPs.

Will there be Sprint commercials? Will it be Sprint-branded on air? Will Tidal (considering it will also air via the iHeart app)? While a coup for iHeart, signs clearly point to the "Tidal exclusive" being more show than substance.
