TAG THEY'RE IT: SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS
Alessia Cara’s end credits track from the animated Disney film Moana, “How Far I’ll Go,” is the biggest mover on this week’s Shazam USA Top 100 chart. It leads a group that includes a young country star, a pop superstar and another HBO goodie.
Cara’s track was up 147 slots to #54. The cleverly named Hudson Mohawke rides “Passports” (Mass Appeal) to #65 after landing a synch on Silicon Valley.
Triple Tigers/Sony’s young country singer Russell Dickerson sees “Yours,” which went to Country radio in late April, rising 134 slots to 67.
Katy Perry’s latest single, “Swish Swish” (Capitol), is up 121 slots to #80 in the U.S. and up 150 slots to #51 in the U.K. where Artists for Grenfell’s cover of Paul Simon’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water” spikes 198 slots to #3.
Another cover, Nell Bryden’s version of Neil Finn’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over,” is up 157 to #44.
