AN ARTISTS FOR GRENFELL VIDEO ARRIVES AS SALES SOAR

The Simon Cowell-helmed Artists for Grenfell charity single “Bridge Over Troubled Water” (Simco) has shifted 120k copies in Blighty across download and streaming since arriving Wednesday. It’s the biggest first-day single sales in the U.K. this decade and will send the song straight to #1 on the Official Charts. It’s 40k sales ahead of the midweek chart-topper, “Despacito” (Polydor) by Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi and Justin Bieber.

The heartfelt cover's video has had over 260k views on YouTube in under 24 hours, and it's still top of the U.K. iTunes chart. It features a host of top British talent in memory of lives lost during the Grenfell Tower fire. Watch here.
