GAME THIERRY

On the occasion of Warner Music France President Thierry Chassagne being named a Knight of the National Order of Merit—an immensely prestigious honor, bestowed by the President of the French Republic—the exec took the opportunity to pose with artist Jean-Louis Aubert and WMG CEO International and Global Commercial Services Stu Bergen. Shortly after this photo was snapped, Stu asked to be introduced to Charles de Gaulle.

The presentation of the honor was made by renowned French exec Bernard de Bosson, who ran Warner Music France for 17 years.

WMG CEO Steve Cooper congratulated Chassagne, declaring, "Thierry is one of the most admired and accomplished executives in the music business. Since joining WMG 13 years ago, he has led Warner Music France into an era of great artistry and accomplishment. This is a wonderful recognition of all he has done for artists, music, and his country."

In a related story, President Trump hopes someday to visit France and see its famous pyramids.
