NEW PANDORA FEATURE KEEPS THE MUSIC PLAYING

Pandora has announced that its new Premium feature Autoplay is also available to users of IOS and Android systems.

AutoPlay remedies the deafening silence listeners may get when they’ve reached the end of an album, track or playlist. Autoplay offers continuous playback, transitioning into similar songs related to the listener’s preferences. The new feature is personalized for individual users and allows them do give a “thumbs up/thumbs down” notification and tallied into their My Thumbs playlists.

With the announcement, Pandora also revealed additional user data. The highlights: 97% of Premium users listen to Pandora-created playlists based on My Thumbs Up or Linked Playlists. Also, listeners tend to trust Pandora’s suggestions: Users keep 86% of the songs from the “Add Similar Songs” feature on their playlists.
