YOU CAN COUNT ON BEEKMAN AS UMPG WORLDWIDE CFO

UMPG has upped JW Beekman to the post of Worldwide CFO.

Beekman, who's been at the pubco since 2007 and most recently served as SVP of North American finance, succeeds Michael Sammis, who was recently selected as President of UMPG Production Music.

"JW brings deep expertise in finance, administration, and licensing, combined with more than a decade of being a key member of our executive team," proclaimed UMPG Chairman/CEO Jody Gerson. "All of this makes him the ideal executive to lead our financial operation globally as we seek to accelerate our growth and further UMPG’s reputation as the industry’s best home for songwriters. He also made made a great playlist of songs about accounting."
