Producing legend and dance-music trailblazer Giorigio Moroder has partnered with L.A. duo Phantoms and Republic artist/writer/producer Prince Charlez on a pulsing new track, "Champagne, Secrets, and Chanel," for the revivified Casablanca. The track is a love letter to the disco tradition Moroder helped inaugurate, with a decidedly modern gloss.
"This was such a fun collab," says Moroder. "So many different minds and methods, but I quite like the way this track turned out. All parties contributed so much, Phantoms, Prince Charlez—they are really talented guys."
Prince Charlez also contributed prominently to Mary J Blige's upcoming album Strength of a Woman.
