SGT. PEPPER HEADS TO THEATERS

Sgt. Pepper will be telling the band to play today in theaters across the U.S. and Canada as Dolby Labs and Universal Music Group throw listening events for 50th anniversary edition of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Lovely audiences only, please.

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band will be played in Dolby Atmos, a sound technology that places and moves sound around the audience, including overhead, to immerse the audience in the music. Giles Martin, engineer Sam Okell and re-recording mixer Chris Jenkins have overseen the new mix.
