CEO OUT AT TIDAL

Jeff Toig has become the third CEO to leave Jay Z’s Tidal in the last two years.

“As part of Tidal’s continued expansion this year we will be announcing a new CEO in the coming weeks,” the company said in a statement. “We wish former CEO, Jeffrey Toig, all the best in his future endeavors.”

Toig joined the company after spending two years as Chief Business Officer at SoundCloud, replacing Peter Tonstad who had taken over for Andy Chen.

Tidal, which has yet to unveil plans in connection with its newest investor Sprint, reportedly has about 1m users.
