SIGRID’S STAR SHINES

Hotly tipped Norway export Sigrid made her Late Late Show debut Thursday night, where the young Island signing rocked her debut single, “Don’t Kill My Vibe,” after being chosen as Apple Music’s second Up Next star. Watch the video, which already has 18k+ views, below.

Darcus Beese’s Universal U.K. imprint Island sealed a competitive deal with Sigrid last year, led by Senior A&R Manager Annie Christensen. Handling her career are Made Management’s Per Mygland, Geir Luedy and Rich Schaefer of LoyalT Management. Luedy also looks after another Norwegian star who’s signed to UMG’s DeccaAurora (both artists were first signed to Norwegian label Petroleum).

You can find out more about Sigrid, who draws influence from Joni Mitchell and Neil Young, during a 5/29 interview on Beats 1. “Don’t Kill My Vibe” currently has nearly 14m streams on Spotify.
