The Rolling Stones will play 13 shows in a dozen venues across Europe in September and October. It’s a new tour, titled Stones—No Filter, that will features new production and, as usual, state-of-the-art stage design.
AEG’s Concerts West is promoting the tour that starts 9/9 at The Stadtpark in Hamburg. It wraps with two shows at Paris’s U Arena; the Stones will be performing the first concerts at the venue. The Stadtpark, a city park in the heart of Hamburg, last used for a major live music concert in 1989, and Lucca City Wall in Tuscany has never been used before for a major live music event.
They announced that shows will include “Gimme Shelter,” “Paint It Black,” “Jumpin Jack Flash,” “Tumbling Dice” and “Brown Sugar” plus “unexpected tracks” and “randomly selected surprises.”
