PIONEROS DE PANDORA

"Pioneers" may not be the exact Spanish word to indicate Trendsetters; iniciadores ("initiators") might be slightly preferable. But in any case, in honor of Cinco de Mayo, two Mexican artists are among the highlighted acts on Pandora's weekly Trendsetters Chart.

With "Adios Amor," Christian Nodal (who hails from Caborca, Sonora, Mexico) claims the #1 spot on the chart, goosed by big growth on the socials.

Another Mexican artist, Brooklyn-based Raymix, moves inside the Top 10 with "Dónde Estarás," a prime example of the "electrocumbias" subgenre. Raymix has earned more than 3k weekly artist station adds and is hoovering up the likes on Facebook.

New arrivals include five-member boy band Why Don't We, who land in the Top 10, and electro-troubadour Jaymes Young.

Happy Fifth. That does not mean drink a fifth of tequila. But hey, if you must, you must.
