The Streamy Awards, which celebrates the best in online video, are accepting submissions and fan nominations for its 7th annual awards show, presented by dick clark productions and Tubefilter, Submissions can be made via the Streamys website. Deadline is 6/8; nominations will be announced this summer.

The awards show will be held 9/26 at the Beverly Hilton and, for the first time, streamed live on Twitter.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Twitter for the 2017 Streamy Awards,” said Ariel Elazar, Executive Vice President of Brand, Marketing and Digital Strategy for dick clark productions. “Creators continue to use Twitter to not only distribute their content, but also as a primary way to engage with their audiences, so it is a natural fit to be the home of this year’s Streamy Awards."

The Streamys have been modified this year to reflect the ever-evolving virtual world of content. They’ve added Branded and Social Good categories, increased focus on original series with new awards for Comedy Series and Drama Series awards and have done away with gender distinction in the performance awards. Categories have also been broadened to encompass submissions from creators who distribute video primarily via social media platforms.
