Artist Legacy Group is taking Iggy Pop global. ALG will spearhead new license extension opportunities for Iggy’s name and likeness across multiple product categories and media platforms.
“He is an unstoppable creative force,” ALG CEO Ashley Austin said of the rocker who just turned 70. “Iggy Pop is punk rock personified and a perfect fit for brands looking to add authentic edge to their product lines and advertising campaigns.”
Pop’s music has been featured in many an ad campaign—“Lust for Life” for Royal Caribbean most prominently—but also Guinness, Captain Morgan, Toyota, Chrysler, Audi and Volkswagen.
After ALG made its presentation, Pop responded “Sounds like fun.”
