The Top 5 Highest-Grossing Films in America Over the Weekend

Buena Vista/Disneynature's Born in China—a documentary-style film that follows the adventures of a panda, a golden monkey and a snow leopard—was the only new film to make the domestic box office's Top 5 this week, earning just over $5m. Universal blockbuster The Fate of the Furious pulled in $39m in its second week, holding at #1.

The latter dropped an expected 61% and brought its domestic cume to $164m. Even more impressively, the global number passed the $900m mark.
