HARRY: FIRST-WEEK NUMBERS AND THE STREAMING SNAFU
Having weathered a Spotify glitch that made his track unavailable for much of his opening day, Columbia's Harry Styles is expected to hit a song project total of 190-210k with debut solo single "Sign of the Times" in its first week, with 8-10 million streams.
While the Spotify snafu frustrated fans' searches, many turned to YouTube. The audio clip for the song has rustled up about 12.2m views.
"Sign" remains #1 on the iTunes singles chart, while it sits at #19 on the Spotify U.S. Top 50 and #17 on the Global Top 50.
