YOUR ACM SCORECARD

The 52nd ACM Awards started off with a bang when all the Entertainer of the

Year nominees— Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban—took turns dishing out mini performances for an introductory medley of singles. Hosts Bryan and Dierks Bentley were then joined by Eagles man Joe Walsh for a quick tribute to the late, great Chuck Berry; the trio killed it on “Johnny B. Goode.”

Aldean ended up being the recipient of the big award for Entertainer. Miranda Lambert accepted the trophy for Album of the Year, saying “I just want to say thank you for letting me release my heartbreak and sharing it with me.” And Florida Georgia Line (pictured) walked away with the gong for Single Record of the Year, which went to “H.O.L.Y.,” while Thomas Rhett’s “Die a Happy Man” won for Song.

The event, which took place at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena and aired via CBS, ran smoothly and seemed like an absolute bash, brought to life by Bryan and Bentley’s charming banter and undeniably bromantic chemistry.
