LORDE TURNS ON
THE "LIGHT"

Lava/Republic's Lorde has dropped a new single, "Green Light," and its accompanying video on all DSPs; you can check it out below. It's currently #3 at iTunes.

iHeartMedia is giving the song an unprecedented World Premiere on 125 Top 40, Hot AC and Alternative stations, claiming more than 24m total audience spins. "Green Light" is being featured on iHeart's "New Hits Weekly" and "New Alt Weekly" on-demand playlists as well.

The singer/songwriter is previewing and discussing the track on fellow kiwi Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show this morning (3/2), discussing working with producer/writer Jack Antonoff, among other things; she'll appear on SNL next weekend, just after album pre-orders begin. She'll join brand new Walk of Fame inductee Elvis Duran on Z100's morning show then. Her full-length, Melodrama (produced by the artist, Antonoff and Frank Dukes) is due sometime in the summer, Lorde willing.
