FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

‘Scuze me while I kiss th’ skyyy: Future’s HNDRXX (A1/Freebandz/Epic) has done just that as the surprise release arrives at #1 on the first day of its release. It’s #2 at Apple Music behind—what else?—his self-released title that came out a week ago.

HNDRXX is one of seven new titles in the Top 10 at iTunes. The 13th album from country singer Aaron Watson, Vaquero (BIG Label), lassos the two slot as the second EP in John Mayer’s The Search for Everything series (Columbia) is #3.

The eighth album from Capitol Nashville’s Little Big Town, The Breaker, rides in at #4. WEA’s soundtrack for The Shack, which features new music from Kelly Clarkson & Aloe Blacc, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, and Dan+Shay, opens its door to #6.

Bachata artist Prince Royce settles in at #8 with the deluxe edition of FIVE (Sony Latin) as Poya & Fat Nick’s Drop Out of School (Buffet Boys) ring the bell at #10.

The new Chainsmokers & Coldplay track, “Something Like This” (Disruptor/Columbia) holds onto #1 on the iTunes songs chart while the latest from Interscope’s Lana Del Rey, “Love” warms up the 10 spot.

Besides HNDRXX, Apple Music’s Top 10 sees the arrival of NAV’s self-titled XO/Republic release pop in at #6.
