Interscope's Lana Del Rey dropped a new single, "Love," on all DSPs Saturday, with an accompanying video on Monday (see below). The track is the first salvo from her forthcoming album (due later this year). The full set was created by Del Rey and producer Rick Nowels, with an array of special guests to be revealed later; producers Benny Blanco and Emile Haynie contributed to "Love." The atmospheric, yearning track has ascended to #4 at iTunes as of Tuesday morning.
The clip, directed by Rich Lee, offers some striking retro images to enhance the Phil Spector-ish vibes of the recording.
