LA LA LAND MAKES SWEET MUSIC AT BAFTAS

As the Grammys ramped up, the Brits wrapped up their own industry bash–the 70th Annual British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) in London. In what may be a foreshadowing of the upcoming Academy Awards, La La Land was the big winner, earning five awards, including Best Film. Composer Justin Hurwitz scored a BAFTA for La La Land's Original Music, beating out Arrival, Jackie, Nocturnal Animals and Lion.
