PRINCE IS STREAMING; SPOTIFY GOES FIRST

Prince’s Warner Bros. catalog went live on Spotify at noon ET/9am PT and his entire catalog will be available on all streaming services by 5pm PT/8pm ET, as the Grammy Awards telecast starts.

Pandora will put up billboards in L.A. Monday to announce Prince’s presence in addition to doing social media and email marketing campaigns. Apple Music started offering the Prince WB catalog around noon PT/3pm ET.

Prince’s catalog is also available on iHeartRadio’s subscription services, iHeartRadio Plus and iHeartRadio All Access. The service also offers an on-demand playlist at iHeartPrince.

The compilation PRINCE 4Ever, released in November, makes its streaming debut along with his classics Purple Rain, 1999, Around the World in a Day, Parade and Sign O’ The Times. On 6/9, Warner Bros. will release two albums of previously unreleased Prince music and two complete concert films from the Paisley Park vault.

“Warner Bros. is thrilled to be able to bring Prince’s music to his millions of fans around the world via streaming services, fittingly on music's biggest night,” said Cameron Strang, Chairman & CEO, Warner Bros. Records. “We'd like to thank Prince's estate, Universal Music Publishing, the Grammy Awards and all of the streaming services for their great collaboration in making this landmark event possible.”

"Prince fans around the world can now enjoy tracks from his incredibly diverse and prolific career on Spotify," goes a statement from the service. "We’re honored to bring back the work of such a legendary artist to music lovers everywhere."
